I was apprehensive due to past poor experiences regarding medication discussions I left my appointment feeling validated and heard. My questions were answered clearly and directly. I appreciated discussion regarding coverage concerns and compromise that worked for me.

I'm in process to switch to another doctor and unable to see until October and I needed to still keep track of my cholesterol during the switch. Ms. Shockley was able to set up a lab appointment and has made it possible for me to continue monitoring my cholesterol until I can see my new primary provider.

She has a very calming voice and never judges. She also works well with other providers if you have an entire healthcare team.

This is the future of great medicine. Finally a practitioner isn't bound by a corporation to render treatment and aid that they see fit rather than what the super corporation says it will treat. Nikki Shockley is a pioneer in this field and my experience has been nothing less than breathtaking. After years of slogging away in corporate medicine, it's so nice to have a real, professional relationship with my practitioner rather than just a 5-minute, impersonal conversation. She gets medicine and she gets technology. She definitely gets an "A" in my book.

I have had two conversations with Nikki now. This is the first time (after several attempts with my general practitioner) that I have felt HEARD on the issues I am experiencing. For the first time since I started experiencing peri-menopause symptoms over the past several years, I feel like I am on track to some resolution and relief. Nikki took the time to really listen, expressed genuine concern, and I never felt rushed. It's clear to me that she is passionate about what she does. Dr. Nikki Shockley Is the Best, especially for women, providing a space of acceptance, compassion and a genuine concern for myself and families well-being. I’ve always appreciated her ability to hold that space and courageous seek to understand the truth of the matter rather than by what past conventional methods and models have been. she opens a space for then others to follow their gut instinct and best take care of them selves by offering the opportunity of authenticity to anyone she cares for - (thus we are able to heal faster) . HighlyI-recommend and reminds me of another amazing Dr, Dr.Gabor Mate and one of his teachers A.H.Almass states “ Only in the presence of Compassion can one heal.” And Dr. Shockley provided that prescription. !

I enjoy the new platform over telehealth (video appointmen), similar to zoom. I like the fact that I can be at home in Duluth, or up visiting my mom 70 miles away. I don't have to get up early frantically rushing around to get back to town for an in person visit. When it comes to response time, Nikki is the fastest Dr I've ever had. She has a gift of proficiency, swiftly responding to questions concerns, or requests for advice. The policy my be 24 hours for med refills, ect. That has not been my experience. I usually get a response within a couple hours.... early next day at the latest, if its a holiday or something. Medication refills are the fastest and I've had many Dr's over the years. Almost always within a couple hours I'm getting a text that my scripts are in. In the event that a medication is not available at my preferred pharmacy, i call around to find a place that has the medication in stock, forward that information to Nikki, and I'm able to pick it up at at the alternate location the same day. She understands the importance of not having to miss even a day in the medication regimen. She cares. Good luck in finding a Dr that can match her efficiency! Nikki is very easy to talk to, empathetic, yet stern. She is assertive in her responsibilities to give sound advice, and in her expectation of responsible follow through. She is #1 of all the Dr's I've seen in my 49 years of existence. If ur looking for a good, smart, Dr that cares, and isn't going to be more hassle, then helpful, along with a flexible platform to meet that solves challenges like transportation or location restrains, Look no further! Oh, lastly Nikki is not just about the money.. Ever feel that way about a provider? I have. During the transition to her own practice where insurance companies were dragging their feet in paying, Nikki went above and beyond in offering services at a very reasonable fee so myself, and other patients in a lower income bracket were still able to afford care. I myself often assess whether a Dr is just about the money, or really cares. Nikki has proven to me that she really cares.

Nikki was very easy to talk to and helpful with my health concerns. Nikki offered several suggestions on various topics that we spoke about. I feel confident that moving forward with the suggestions from Nikki, I will finally begin to feel better after years of struggling with not feeling my best. Would recommend her to anyone.

I love this !! Being disabled sometimes it's hard for me to find someone that can put my wheelchair in and out of my car, and the weather is not always in my favor. Nikki has been my medical provider for over 5yrs she has always done whatever it takes to diagnosis and the best way to treat whatever is wrong. She's open to talk to others in her profession and to you, in a way you understand what's wrong and why she treating you the way she is. She comes to me when I can't get to her great plan. IT WORKS I recommend Nikki and telehealth 100%
